As a photographer, I draw my inspiration from the light of some of the great masters of painting. Balancing lights and shadows, I create images that tell stories without words.
Claudio Napolitano is a renowned Venezuelan-American photographer born in Caracas from Italian parents. He is known for his expertise in handling light, with a deep understanding of collective psychology and the language of emotions. Napolitano’s work explores universal themes such as misery, childhood, and old age through local themes, with the intention of inviting reflection on social problems. He is the only Venezuelan to have been awarded the title “Hasselblad Master” in 2010.
Napolitano’s work is internationally recognized and he has received more than 41 international awards.
